Rats hit top note with Panto of the Opera
It is 19th Century Paris and Madame Zola (Sue Cronshaw) is trying desperately to save the Opera House from financial ruin.
Frank Lee (Steven Johnson) is the evil villain, detemined to take over the ailing venue and turn it into another morally decadent Moulin Rouge. In looking for new talent, Mme Zola meets Italian Operatic star (Ann Rogerson) and Christine (Isobel Austin), with her beautiful but untutored voice. Another danger to the Opera House's survival comes from the interfering health and safety inspector (Robert Taylor), who is determined to close the building.
And this panto wouldn't be complete without the Dame (Dave Procter), or indeed the Opera House's resident phantom. Will they help to save it from financial and physical ruin?
Come along and enjoy a barrel-load of laughs, songs, dances and much more besides.
